Capitol Concrete Products has proven to be an industry leader in innovation since its inception. In 1956, Capitol Concrete was the first block producer in the area to begin curing their block in autoclave kilns. In 1984, Capitol Concrete experimented with using solar power to produce the steam needed for curing block. The drive to produce top quality masonry units is still further evidenced by the new state of the art production plant which began production in Topeka in 2003.
